My second Adorn outfit was so much fun to put together as I immediately was drawn towards this blazer. I’m typically a fan of the classic, structured blazers however, it’s always fun to have a few statement pieces in your wardrobe and break free from the conventional business blazer. As we are transitioning into summer, this light, drapey blazer renders a more suitable option.

I wanted to the jacket to be the focal point of this outfit and really display how great it is. As such, I chose a very neutral and simple top and bottom to go with it. All three items are made from silky, flowy material which makes this outfit extremely comfortable and cohesive. To dress up this outfit, I chose a classic pair of nude heels to make it more appealing for a working environment. Kari (owner of Adorn) did a post on her blog Modern Girls in Vintage Pearls on these slouchy pants that demonstrate another similar and darling way to style them. I’ve been a huge fan of these baggy-style pants and in addition to these ones, own a few other styles. Just as on ongoing observation, you want to be careful which ones you buy and how to construct outfits with them as they can appear like “pyjama pants” if not done properly!

I hope you enjoyed this month-long collaboration with Adorn and were able to visit their beautiful boutique. Jana and I had a blast showing you a couple outfits that we love to wear for this time of the year and our hope is that you were inspired to put together your version of a perfect spring/summer outfit. Even though today’s marks the last post with Adorn, remember you still have until the very end of May to shop any of these outfits or assemble the pieces according to your preference with e31. exclusive discount code for Adorn!
